LoqAI ("the App") is designed with privacy as a core principle. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle (or rather, don't handle) your data.

On-Device Processing

All AI processing happens entirely on your device:

• Apple Intelligence runs through Apple's on-device framework
• Open-source models are downloaded once and run locally
• Your conversations never leave your device

Network Access

The App uses network access only for:

• Downloading AI models from Hugging Face (optional, one-time)
• Fetching live data for tools (football scores, etc.) when you use those features

Your conversations and personal data are never transmitted.

Data Storage

Data stored locally on your device includes:

• Conversations: Stored in app sandbox, never synced
• Downloaded Models: Stored in App Group container
• Preferences: App settings stored locally

Calendar Access

If you enable calendar integration, the App can read and create calendar events. This data:

• Is accessed only when you use calendar-related AI features
• Is never uploaded to any external server
• Can be revoked at any time in Settings

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data. The App:

• Does not communicate with any external servers for conversation data
• Does not integrate with social media platforms
• Does not include any advertising networks
• Does not use any third-party SDKs that collect data

iCloud Sync

If you use the App on multiple devices signed into the same iCloud account, your preferences may sync between your devices using iCloud. This syncing:

• Uses Apple's encrypted iCloud service
• Is completely under your control via iOS/macOS Settings
• Can be disabled at any time in your device settings
• Does NOT include your conversation history

Security

Since we don't collect any data, there is no risk of your personal information being compromised through our servers. All AI processing uses standard iOS/macOS frameworks and respects system-level security restrictions. Downloaded models are stored securely in the app's sandboxed container.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 (or applicable age in your jurisdiction). The App does not collect any information from any users of any age.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect any personal data, there is no personal information for you to access, correct, or delete from our servers. You maintain complete control over any data stored locally on your device and can delete it at any time by:

• Deleting the App from your device
• Using the App's conversation deletion features
• Deleting downloaded models through the App's settings
• Resetting the App via iOS/macOS Settings
