Hold the Route
Tahowa Defense is a native 3D tower defense game for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Choose from six defense types, place them anywhere inside the deployment perimeter, and upgrade them as the battle develops. Fight through 20 automatic waves on each of three battlefields while armored convoys, drones, and siege crawlers push toward your command center.
Six Defenses
Rapid-fire Sentinels, area-damage Howitzers, slowing Pulse towers, armor-piercing Railguns, chain-lightning Tesla coils, and anti-air Skyguards.
Free Placement
No build pads or grid. Tap any clear terrain inside the perimeter and deploy. Roads, scenery, and other towers need clearance.
Three Upgrade Tracks
Firepower, Optics, and Overdrive upgrade damage, range, and fire rate independently. Upgrade modules change the 3D model.
Three Battlefields
Dustline Pass, Frostfall Ridge, and Ember Basin each have their own route, scenery, and 20 waves with a boss every fifth wave.
Full 3D Camera
Pan, rotate, tilt, and zoom around a SceneKit battlefield. Pause to plan or switch to 2× speed when the line holds.
Offline & Clean
No accounts, no ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking. Everything runs on your device.

Private by Design
Tahowa Defense runs entirely on your device.
The game needs no account and no network connection. It does not collect, upload, or share any data, does not show ads, and contains no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
How to Play
1. Choose a Defense
Pick a tower from the bottom bar. On Mac, keys 1–6 select a defense.
2. Deploy
Tap or click free terrain inside the dashed perimeter. Green means clear, red means blocked. Then press Deploy.
3. Upgrade
Select a tower to add Firepower, Optics, or Overdrive, or recycle it for 70% of your investment.
4. Survive 20 Waves
Waves start automatically. Send them early for bonus credits, and use Railguns against armor and Skyguards against drones.
System Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- iOS 17.0+ / iPadOS 17.0+ for iPhone and iPad
- macOS 14.0+ for Mac
- No internet connection required
Note: Progress is session-only in this version. Each operation starts fresh.

About the Developer
Tahowa Defense is developed by Alexander Deutsch, a Staff Software Engineer with 15+ years of iOS development experience. Specializing in creating innovative mobile solutions, Alexander has worked on applications for major companies including Kaia Health, MediaMarkt Saturn, and AutoScout24.
This game is a native SwiftUI and SceneKit project: all terrain, scenery, towers, and units are generated locally, with no external assets or third-party packages.

Tahowa Defense ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices for the Tahowa Defense application available on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.

Network Access
The App does not require an internet connection and does not communicate with any external servers. All game logic, rendering, and content generation happen entirely on your device.

The App does not store personal data. Gameplay progress is kept in memory for the current session only and is discarded when the operation ends or the App is closed.
Data Sharing
We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data. The App:
- Does not communicate with any external servers
- Does not integrate with social media platforms
- Does not include any advertising networks
- Does not use any third-party SDKs that collect data
In-App Purchases and Accounts
The App contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no user accounts.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 (or applicable age in your jurisdiction). The App does not collect any information from any users of any age.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect any personal data, there is no personal information for you to access, correct, or delete from our servers. Deleting the App removes everything associated with it from your device.
